Centennial Students Named Semi-Finalists for Governor's Honor Program

Seventeen 10th and 11th grade students at Centennial High School Students have been named as semi-finalists for the 2011 Governor's Honors Program. 

They include:

Mary Aghajanian, Esther Chang, Daniel Davalos, Jay Deuskar, Laura Douglas, Alex Dube, Demetrius Eley, Claire Garland, Margaret Harney, Allyson Higgins, Kristen Johnson, Mallory McGoff, Michael Nozick, Benjamin Partridge, Caroline Riffel, Brandon Soloff and Jacqueline Zhu.

The students will attend further interviews during January and February before winners are named to the elite summer honors program. Less than 1 percent of Georgia students receive the honor every year.
