Alpharetta Shooting Victim Dies - Alpharetta-Milton Patch

A man who was shot in Stoneridge subdivision early Monday evening died after being taken to North Fulton Hospital. Alpharetta investigators were searching for a suspect.

The Alpharetta Dispatch Center received a call at 6:24 p.m. from a man who said he saw a man shot. Alpharetta police and fire units responded to the call at a townhome on Whitestone Ridge, a street within Stoneridge. They found the victim, who had been shot one time in the lower abdominal area, said Alpharetta Department of Public Safety spokesman George Gordon. Truck Fire Shuts Down GA 400 Early Tuesday - Cumming Patch

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured but the cab was extensively damaged.

Ray's on the River Responds to Failed Health Inspection Report - Sandy Springs Patch

Ray's on the River marketing director, Claire Brimmer, says the popular restaurant received high marks on a follow-up health inspection.

The Atlanta Police Department released survelliance camera footage of 3 suspects who were wanted in connection to the deadly shooting that occured on Janurary 16th at the tattoo parlor located at 806 Lee Street.

Father Gets 20 Years in Prison for Severely Injuring Five-Month-Old - Douglasville Patch

A 24-year-old father will spend 20 years in prison after being sentenced on child abuse charges for shaking his five-month-old son so hard that it caused brain swelling, bleeding of blood vessels in the eyes and blindness, according to Douglas County District Attorney David McDade in a press release.
