Atlanta Humane Society Hosts Annual 'No Ball At All'

"Non‐event" raises money to support animals.

What is No Ball at All? How does this “non‐event” raise money? Nearly 20 years ago, Atlanta Humane Society relinquished its annual ball with dinner, fancy dresses and tuxes, live entertainment and silent auction in an effort to allocate more dollars directly to the care of the shelter animals.

In lieu of a lavish, expensive event, the “No Ball at All” was established as a “non‐event” that collects donations for Atlanta Humane Society. This year, the non‐profit hopes to exceed its 2011 mark of $125,000.

“No Ball” donations of any amount are welcome throughout the year. However, anyone who makes a donation of at least $350 is invited to attend a “No Ball at All Patron Party” hosted by a loyal Atlanta Humane Society supporter. The 2012 Patron Party will be hosted at the home of Lorri and Forrest McClain on Saturday, April 14 from 7 p.m.‐ 11 p.m. Enjoy an evening of socializing with fellow donors, knowing your contribution goes straight to the care of the dogs and cats.
