Atlanta Junior Rowing Currently Registering for 'Learn to Row' Camp

The camp is specifically designed for teens who have never rowed before.

Ready, set, row. The Atlanta Junior Rowing Association just announced the upcoming dates for its not-to-be-missed "Learn to Row" camps over the summer.

According to the AJRA, many campers have never even seen rowing before they come to camp, much less touched an oar. The two-week camps give participants an understanding of sweep rowing fundamentals, as well as equipment, terminology and safety of moving boats on and off the water. A basic workout program kicks off the class and everyone participates in rowing both four- and eight-man shells on the Chattahoochee River. Camps are co-ed for ages 12-18.
