Bea Wants a Home for the Holiday

Jack Russell mix is about 1 1/2 years old.

Meet Bea, a Jack Russell Terrier mix girl who is around 1-1/2 years old.

Bea weighs around 20 pounds and is looking for a home and family to call her own for Thanksgiving. Bea is ready to have some turkey and some fun and would love to find a family to open their home and welcome her in before the holiday.

She was turned into a kill shelter by her owner who could no longer give her a home. Bea has the sweetest disposition and such a cute face and personality, and is very loving. She loves to run sprints with her foster family in the yard and play-wrestle with other dogs.

She really likes meeting new people and getting lots of attention and love from them - especially belly rubs. Although she does loves to play a lot, she's equally fond of just sitting on/next to you on a couch, chair or bed and is perfectly content just to be with and near her "person."

Bea also enjoys learning new tricks and is a whiz at remembering them.  According to her fosters, Bea would make an excellent agility dog as she is a quick learner and can fly like the wind. They feel Bea would do best in an active home, with active owners who wouldn't leave her in a crate for long hours, as Jack Russells are a very active breed who need and require lots of exercise and stimulation.

Bea is housetrained but needs a patient, calm owner as she tends to tinkle when she's very nervous. We feel this will diminish, with time, when she's able to know that she's forever home and settled in with her family.

This girl is up-to-date on all shots and vetting, is spayed, microchipped and ready to go to her forever home and family. Will you help Bea's holiday wish come true?
