Black Friday? That was SO 2010.
The retail giant started Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving in 2011, but at 10 p.m. Walmart has 170 locations in Georgia and employs more than 52,000 associates in the state.
The move to 8 p.m. could put more pressure on big-box retailers such as Target and Best Buy to push their own opening times earlier, according to Bizjournals.
The ad on Walmart.com lists Black Friday and Thanksgiving evening specials, which include a 16GB iPad 2 for $399 and 32-inch LCD TV for $148.
