Bulky Trash Amnesty Day

Dump your large trash - for free.

Once again, the Public Works Departments of Roswell, Alpharetta and Milton are partnering with Keep Roswell Beautiful to offer residents a chance to clean out their garages, basements and attics.

You know that broken piece of furniture that you've had sitting out in the garage for months now? It's time to dump it. You can dispose of unwanted items at no charge during the bulky trash event.

Residents of Roswell, Alpharetta and Milton can bring items to the Roswell Public Works Division at 1810 Hembree Road on Saturday, Mar. 19 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Proof of residency will be required-utility bills are preferred. Although Roswell residents with the window decal do not need any other form of identification. Due to the fact that the event has become so popular over the years, residents can expect delays.

Some of the items that will be accepted are:

  • Tires - must be off the rim, automobile tires only; limit four per car
  • sofas
  • tables
  • refrigerators
  • chairs
  • washers
  • dryers

  • deactivated cell phones

The following items will not be accepted:
