Bulky Trash Amnesty Day Set For Saturday
Spring cleaning’s greatest ally returns March 16.
Give your home a clean sweep this spring by clearing out unwanted bulky items from your garage, basement and attic and getting rid of them on Saturday, March 16 at Bulky Trash Amnesty Day.
Hosted by the Public Works Departments of Roswell and Milton*, along with Keep Roswell Beautiful, Bulky Trash Amnesty Day allows residents to drop off large items for disposal free of charge at the city of Roswell Public Works Division at 1810 Hembree Road from 8 a.m. to noon.
Proof of Roswell or Milton residency (utility bills and/or window decals) will be required.
Examples of acceptable bulky items include:
- Tires - must be off the rim, automobile tires only; limit 4 per car
- Sofas, tables, chairs
- Refrigerators, washers, dryers
- Televisions, electronics
- Deactivated cell phones
The following items will not be accepted:
- household hazardous waste
- any fluids including motor oil and antifreeze
- household batteries
- construction and demolition materials
- yard waste

Chadwick Landfill: 770-475-9868 (construction and demolition materials)
Materials will only be accepted at the site on the day of the event between of 8 a.m. and noon. Please note the line will be cut off at noon.
