CMS Hosts Annual Grandparent's Tea

The school invites student grandparents for the special event every year.

It’s a heartfelt Crabapple Middle School tradition to invite grandparents to a holiday tea and to share special memories with their grandchildren.

This year was no exception.

Many students participated, writing and presenting a special family memory to their grandparents. The honored Grandparents were treated to breakfast and serenaded by the band, orchestra, and chorus. D’Andre and his grandmother, Brenda Lofton listened to the holiday music during the event. Brenda is visiting from East Chicago, Indiana, and it’s the first time she’s been able to visit Roswell for the holidays, making this year extra special.

D’Andre’s special memory of his grandmother is at Christmas time, when it is usually him who’s traveling.

It was a beautiful event, my son was very happy that his grandmother was able to attend. I love the picture.
