Death Threats Target Roswell Publisher
WSBTV's Channel 2 news station reports on a local publisher who received death threats over material in a textbook.
The Roswell publishing company, InspireEd, which publishes textbooks, has become an alleged target for teaching materials it produced that may be considered to promote Islam and polygamy, according to a recent report by WSBTV's Channel 2 Action News.
Channel 2 spoke with parents of seventh graders at Campbell Middle School in Symrna, who felt a letter included within the teaching materials, which supported the Middle Eastern dress code for women, as well as polygamy, while at the same time denouncing Western women's style of dress, was "out of context and inappropriate for middle school students."
According to reports, the Roswell Police Department is looking into online threats made against the publisher, including one threat which read: "There will be a blood bath.”

Good grief people. Get a grip!!
Threats over middle school instructional materials? Looks like some parents need to learn some critical thinking concepts. Teaching kids about other religions doesn't force them to follow these alternative beliefs, any more than teaching them sex education encourages them to have sex.

A person has a right to choose how and by whom his children are educated. A person does not have the right to threaten the life of another for writing a book.
