UPDATED: Dense Fog Makes Driving Hazardous Christmas Morning

The National Weather Service predicts the heavy, dense fog will limit visibility to one-quarter mile or less.

UPDATED 7 a.m. Dec. 25: The National Weather Service extended the dense fog advisory for another hour, until 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25.

A dense fog advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, with widespread visibilities of one-quarter mile or less, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City. The low visibilities will make driving hazardous.

If driving, slow down and use low-beam headlights. Leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
