On Eve of Funeral, Ball Ground Learns 3 Were Murder-Suicide Victims - Canton Patch

As relatives received visitors today, authorities identified the three bodies pulled from the rubble of a Ball Ground home leveled by a fire last month, and announced all were victims of a murder-suicide.

"Facts and circumstances of the deaths lead investigators to conclude that Ricky Norrell shot his wife Darlene and daughter Lindsey before taking his own life," Lt. Teacher Wins $1M in Georgia Lottery - Cumming Patch

One Forsyth County preschool teacher will be heading back to school with a few more dollars in her bank account after winning a $1 million prize.

Judy Pelham of Cumming played the Georgia Lottery instant game 'Georgia Lottery Black' and won a $1 million top prize.

Vehicle Destroyed by Fire Near Mall of Georgia - Suwanee Patch

A vehicle was destroyed by fire Saturday evening, Aug. 4, when flames broke out outside the Longhorn restaurant near the Mall of Georgia in Buford, according to a Gwinnett Fire spokesperson.

Gwinnett Fire spokesperson Lt. Colin Rhoden said that a caller about 7 p.m. said that fire was close to the building, and Gwinnett Police noted that the fire was spreading quickly.
