Friday Morning Traffic Fatality Victim ID'd - Sandy Springs Patch

Twenty two-year-old Carlyn Emily Royball of Alpharetta died in the traffic fatality this morning on GA 400.

11Alive News is reporting that B98.5 FM cohost Kelly Stevens was injured in that accident. He was hit by Royball who was driving northbound in the southbound lane at about 3:30 a.m., said Police Capt. Steve Rose. Stevens' car overturned.

Alpharetta Police: Carjack Suspect Beat Teen with Handgun - Alpharetta-Milton Patch

Chilling details have come out about a crime spree that started in Forsyth County before heading to Alpharetta and then Duluth, involving armed robbery, auto theft, carjacking and terroristic threats.

Police ID Dead Man Found in Technology Park - Peachtree Corners Patch

It's been 10 days since the body of a white male was found behind an office building on Technology Parkway and today Gwinnett County Police has released the man's identity.

The Homicide Unit has positively identified the man found on Monday, Aug. 13 as Ronald Corona, 39, from Pennsylvania, said Cpl. Edwin Ritter, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Police Department. Ritter said Corona had been temporarily living in the Gwinnett area since November 2011. See Peachtree Corners Patch for more on this story.

Andrea Sneiderman Posts Bond, Out Of Jail - Dunwoody Patch

Andrea Sneiderman posted bond Thursday morning and has been released from DeKalb County jail.

Channel 2 Action News is reporting that Sneiderman posted the $500,000 bond that Judge Gregory Adams had ordered during Sneiderman's bond hearing on Tuesday.

Sneiderman also was ordered to surrender her passport and her children's passports, as well as wear an electronic ankle bracelet. She was also instructed to live with her parents until her trial. See Dunwoody Patch for more on this story.

Search for Lake Lanier Drowning Victim Scaled Back - Cumming Patch

As of today (Aug. 23) the search for 44-year-old Jeffrey Nause, who is presumed drowned after apparently jumping into the water from a boat in the vicinity of Lake Lanier Islands on Aug. 18, has been scaled back, according to authorities.

Hall County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) have reduced resources devoted to the search operation for Nause, a press release stated from the HCSO. See Cumming Patch for more details on this story.

'America's Most Wanted' to Air Gwinnett Cold Case - Duluth Patch
