Fulton's Mobile Food Trucks to Stop in Roswell

The county's mobile farmer's market will deliver fresh produce and nutrition education.

Fulton County Cooperative Extension recently announced the locations for the 2012 Fulton Fresh Mobile Farmer’s Market, including a twice-monthly stop in Roswell.

The Fulton Fresh program provides access to fresh vegetables and nutrition education in communities designated as food deserts.

“We are pleased that we could expand the Fulton Fresh program to reach 13 communities versus the four communities served in our first season,” said Menia Chester, Director of Fulton County Cooperative Extension. “Being able to provide access to fresh produce in communities not serviced by a major grocery store chain is important in our efforts to address health disparities in these neighborhoods.”
