Greater Atlanta Christian defeated Blessed Trinity Catholic High School 1-0 in the AA State Championship for girls soccer last Saturday.
Playing on the Titans' turf in Roswell, the Lady Spartans scored early in the game.
The AA win is the first state title in Lady Spartan history. Blessed Trinity had won the state title in six of the previous eight years, including last year, which was a 1-0 win against GAC, too.
