Georgia Tech Laser Exhibit Featured at Mountain Park Science Expo

Local students will get up close and personal with science.

 

Students at Mountain Park Elementary in Roswell are not only reading about what it’s like to be a scientist, they'll also get up close and personal with it when the Georgia Tech Laser Exhibit stops by next week.

This year’s Science Expo and Laser Exhibit will be held Thursday, Oct. 11 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the school. The special addition will feature student-submitted experiments, research projects and scientific collections.

For nearly a decade, the Science Expo has been an opportunity for Mountain Park students of all grades to display non-competitive and non-judged science work that is completed at home with parent assistance and submitted for inclusion. Each student who enters their work receives a ribbon and a certificate.
