Get Girl Scout Cookies in Roswell this Weekend
Girl Scouts of the USA debuts Savannah Smiles, a cookie that honors Georgia.
Roswell residents can support the Girl Scouts and enjoy those tasty famous cookies beginning this weekend at several cookie booths around the city.
This year is a big year. In honor of the organization’s 100th Anniversary, a new cookie from none other than the state of Georgia hits the stands – “Savannah Smiles.”
According to the organization’s Website, it is a bite-sized lemon wedge cookie with a dusting of powered sugar. Savannah featured prominently in plans for the new cookie because of its history as home of Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low.
“This lemon wedge cookie is cool and crisp, with just the right number of lemon chips to deliver tiny bursts of flavor. And, when you hold it right, you’ll quickly be reminded of that world-famous 'Brownie Smile,'" stated on the Little Brownie Bakers website.
Through the cookie sales and other activities, Girl Scouts learn life skills and realize how to live up to their full potential. All proceeds from cookie sales support Girl Scouting in our community.
Enjoy eight tasty varieties that include, Thin Mints and Caramel DeLites to Peanut Butter Patties and Thanks-A-Lots.
Cookie booth sales begin Friday, Feb. 17 around Roswell – click here and type in your local zip code to find a cookie booth near you.
