Kids Can Write Returns to Barrington Hall in October

The camp will be held on five Saturdays throughout October and November.

With pen and paper in hand, Roswell youth will once again have the opportunity to develop creative writing skills during Kids Can Write, a writing camp hosted on five consecutive Saturdays in October and November at the historic Barrington Hall.

Led by award-winning children’s book author Mary Ann Rodman, Kids Can Write will teach children how to tell stories clearly while engaging their audience. Participants will take part in guided exercises, individual and group instruction, creative thinking challenges and field trips designed to inspire and encourage their imaginations. A great option for weekend enrichment, the camp will be held on the following Saturdays:

  • Oct. 20
  • Oct. 27
  • Nov. 3
  • Nov. 10
  • Nov. 17

Classes are held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each Saturday for children ages 10 to 14 years old. The cost per child for all five Saturdays is $250. Space is limited to 12 children maximum per camp. Reservations are required.
