Linda Schultz to Host Community Meeting Tuesday

The meeting is set to take place Tuesday, Jan. 15 in Roswell.

 

Fulton County Schools Board member Linda Schultz, who represents most of Roswell, will hold her first community meeting of the new year at Holcomb Bridge Middle School next week.

Each member of the Fulton County Board of Education sponsors a monthly meeting open to all members of the community. The sessions provide an opportunity for direct contact with community members and give board members a chance to listen to local issues and concerns.

Board members have set the following meeting dates for January 2013:

Holcomb Bridge Middle School

Katie Reeves, District 2

Jan. 15, 9:30 a.m.

Manning Oaks Elementary School

Gail Dean, District 3                      

Jan. 10, 9:30 a.m.

Lake Forest Elementary School

Linda Bryant, District 4                 

Jan. 14, 6 p.m.

Langston Hughes High School

Linda McCain, District 5 

Jan. 15, 9:30 a.m.

Wilson Creek Elementary School

Catherine Maddox, District 6        

Jan. 14, 6:30 p.m.

Heritage Elementary School

Julia Bernath, District 7

Jan. 15, 9:30 a.m.

Holcomb Bridge Middle School

Fulton County Board of Education members have hosted these community meetings for a number of years and are believed to be one of the few school boards in the country to use such a process for gathering input.
