Big, beautiful Maybelle is an 8-year-old Red Bone Coonhound and is just as lovable as can be. Sadly, this big lady ended up in the shelter system with no home or family to call her own.

Maybelle is a great house buddy who loves climbing up on the sofa and keeping you company when you watch TV or are reading. This is truly the proverbial couch potato, and although she also enjoys playing in her fenced-in yard and going for walks, her favorite thing really is to hang out with her family - especially if she is the recipient of occasional snacks.

Maybelle is also a great watchdog, and will alert her family with her distinctive coonhound bay when strangers are at the door.

Of course, all of Maybelle's basic vetwork has been done, and she has been spayed, tested for heartworm disease, vaccinated and microchipped.
