Milton Police Want Public's Help Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

A security video image shows a suspect wanted for questioning in the Aug. 6 armed robbery of a pharmacy.

Milton police have released a still image from a security video showing a suspect in the armed robbery of the CVS on Bethany Bend and GA 9 on Saturday, July 6. Police are asking for the public's help to identify this suspect, who is wanted for questioning.

Milton officers said at about 9:15 a.m. the suspect handed a CVS pharmacist a handwritten note claiming he had a gun and wanted numerous prescription medications. He ran out of the store and was pursued by officers in a nearby subdivision before escaping. He also tried to flag down a motorist for a ride toward McFarland Road, said detectives.

Police say the suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, approximately 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds, wearing a white baseball-style cap, red or maroon "Under Armour" type shirt, dark pants and a blue jacket. He carried a blue backpack.

If you have any information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspect pictured below, email Lt. C.S. Barstow with the Milton Police Department or call 770-777-6595.
