Following up on a complaint, two Roswell Police patrolmen caught a man allegedly rolling a joint outside of a local apartment complex on Oct. 14. When they asked him to show his hands, he proved he had other ideas and, instead, took off running.

Officers chased the man through the complex before deploying a Taser, which did not make full contact, but stopped the suspect, nonetheless. The alleged marijuana cigarette could not be found on the suspect, who was from Powder Springs, however police charged him with obstruction and loitering.

Emergency medical personnel checked the suspect over once they arrived and found him to be fine. He was taken to the Roswell Detention Center for processing.
