PTA District 10 Fall Conference Scheduled for Saturday
The free conference is open to the public and will feature two dynamic speakers, Saturday, Oct. 13 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
The North Fulton Council Parent Teacher Association (PTA) will host the PTA District 10 Fall Conference on Saturday, Oct. 13 at Roswell High School.
All PTA members, including students, parents, administrators, teachers and business partners are invited and encouraged to attend the free conference, which will feature two motivational speakers who will inspire both parents and students.
J. Tom Morgan is a nationally recognized expert on the prosecution of crimes against children and has appeared on CNN’s Talk Back Live, the Oprah Winfrey Show, Court TV, the Today Show, and 48 Hours. He served as the District Attorney of DeKalb County, Ga. for 12 years and now uses this expertise to help young people avoid being both victims and perpetrators of crimes.
Joseph B. Washington is known across America for his passionate style of speaking and is a dynamic motivator, whose gift is empowering individuals through challenges and helping them embrace their future. Washington’s passion for speaking is a result of his own personal struggle with stuttering while growing up in San Diego, Ca.
Local PTA members should bring their membership card in order to vote on the budget and electiong of the District Nominating Committee.
