Pumpkin Patch: Bridge to Grace Church Pumpkin Sales Benefit Roswell Area Youth

The pumpkin patch is open daily from Sept. 30-Nov. 1

Bridge to Grace Church on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell will hold its popular pumpkin patch throughout October, benefitting a variety of community outreach projects.

This year an arts and crafts festival will add to the draw for local families looking for something fun to do in the fall. The festival, to be held Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will include a used book sale, live music, clowns and more. Kids can also enjoy a free maze which will be open every day during the operation of the pumpkin patch.

Part of the proceeds of the patch and festival go to Project LIFT which provides mentors free of charge to local at-risk middle and high school students. Last year saw many students succeed beyond their expectations. One high school student, now a senior, passed all his courses for the first time since entering high school, then went on to take classes over the summer as well. Centennial High School teacher Adam Stone called him “the most improved student I have had” over the course of the year.

This will be the fourth year North Fulton residents have found their pumpkins among the festive fall decorations at the Bridge to Grace patch.

The patch will be open Sept. 30 through Nov. 1 at the church, located at 2385 Holcomb Bridge Road. Hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
