Truthseeker - The law doesn't cut medicare benefits - it slows the growth of the program by reducing payments to Medicare Advantage the PRIVATE insurance alternative to Medicare and ties reimbursement to performance. I thought performance related pay was popular n the right of the aisle, rather than cutting doctors a blank check? Also the savings are used to help pay for other parts of the law such as free healthcare screenings for kids and pregnant women.

Senator Ryan on the other hand plans to overturn the ACA but somehow, magically preserve the savings. And did I mention that he wants to replace medicare and medicaid with a non-inflation linked voucher scheme?
