The Roswell Police Department was called to the In Town Suites Extended Stay Hotel on Hembree Road this morning, Thursday, June 2 around 11:11 a.m. after a cleaning lady found a dead body.

According to police, the cleaning lady found the body of a 47 to 48-year-old woman lying on a bed in room 138 around 10:40 to 10:50 a.m. during her normal work routine.

Details released by Roswell say the room was in disarray and the "body had some points of interest on it." Police have not said whether the body has been identified or what the cause of death appeared to be, though a medical examiner was also called to the scene.

The case is still under investigation.
