Roswell, Centennial Teams Advance to GHSA State Basketball Tournament
Roswell girls and Centennial boys play games this weekend for a shot at the championship title.
Both Centennial and Roswell high schools have teams headed to the 2011-2012 GHSA State Basketball Tournament Round 1 games this weekend.
The Roswell High School girls varsity team will head west to play the Marietta High School girls at that school on Friday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m.
Other Region 6 girls teams still playing for the championship include:
- North Forsyth High School v. Wheeler High School
- Alpharetta High School v. Cherokee High School
- West Forsyth High School v. Woodstock High School
The Centennial High School boys varsity team will also play Marietta High School at home Saturday, Feb. 25. Game time is yet to be announced.
Other Region 6 boys teams still playing for the championship include:
- Alpharetta High School v. Lassiter High School
- Milton High School v. Walton High School
- Northview High School v. Wheeler High School
Admission to either game is $7 at the door.

Centennial hosts Marietta at CHS for the 1st round of state at 7:30 Saturday, the 25th. Marietta knocked off Centennial by 7 earlier in the season.
