Roswell High School Athletic Hall of Fame Established

Nominations for this first year are currently being accepted.

Know a former Roswell High School athlete worth recognizing? The newly established Roswell High School Athletic Hall of Fame is currently accepting nominations for its inaugural group of inductees.

According to the recent announcement, the Hall of Fame (HOF) was formed to honor and recognize athletes, coaches, administrators and other community contributors who have achieved noteworthy accomplishments for athletic programs at Roswell High School. Induction into the HOF will be the highest honor the athletic department can bestow upon an individual and inductees will be honored at a ceremony in October.

Here's what the school needs in order to consider someone for the HOF:

  • athletes must be an alumnus of RHS,
  • graduated a minimum of ten years prior to nomination,
  • coaches or administrators must be retired and have served RHS at least five years,
  • community contributors to Roswell athletics may be nominated at any time,
  • posthumous nominations for any category may be offered at any time.

The first group of inductees, this year, will be honored at an induction banquet on Oct. 17. Each inductee will recognized at the RHS football game on Oct. 18, and all inductees’ names will be displayed permanently at the school. 

Hall of Fame sponsor donations, payable to Roswell High School (HOF notation), are being accepted and may be mailed to the attention of John Coen, RHS Athletic Director, 11595 King Road, Roswell, GA 30075.
