The Roswell Library will host its monthly book groups next week.

The Noonday Nosh Book Group will discuss the book The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver at the meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 12 p.m. This award-winning novel follows the life of a writer through his childhood in Mexico, his friendship with Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera and his later life in the U.S. as he is investigated by the House Un-American Activities Committee in the 1950s.

The Mystery Readers’ Book Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25 to discuss the book Foul Matter by Martha Grimes. A comic send-up of the publishing industry and the crime genre, this book is sure to entertain.
