Roswell PD to Host 'National Night Out' Tuesday
Bring the whole family out to the National Night Out celebration at Roswell City Hall, Tuesday, Aug. 7.
Roswell Police Department and Roswell Target stores are inviting local residents to National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7.
The free event will be held at Roswell City Hall. Food, drinks, a rock climbing wall, a dunk tank, local vendors and prizes are just some of the things residents can look forward to enjoying during the event. Police vehicles, fire equipment, SWAT, K-9 demonstrations and children games are all part the special event, which is held in towns across the country.
The event is designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners. The goal is to heighten crime-prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime programs. Most importantly, organizers hope the event sends a message that local neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
It’s also the perfect opportunity to get to know your neighbors even better.
For more information, go to www.NationalNightOut.org or contact the Roswell Police Department. The event takes place Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Roswell City Hall is located at 38 Hill Street.
