At a recent meeting, Dave McCleary introduces DeAnn Fordham with The Chattahoochee Nature Center, Sid Disher, Theo Keyserling, Lou Tabickman, and Michael Gould. CNC and Roswell Rotary partnered in the Trees Across Roswell project. DeAnn presented an award today from the Georgia Urban Forest Council. It is the Outstanding Education Award 2012! Roswell Rotarians, area Boy Scouts plus numerous community volunteers planted over 2,500 trees in the greater Roswell area. Roswell Rotary

Edith Ivy shared stories of her journey from a radio actress, television (black and white to color), movies including the first fully digitalized movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Brad Pitt.  Edith has been a pioneer of radio, TV, screen, and stage.  She worked with Bob Hope, played Princess Summerfall Winterspring on the Howdy Doody show and still acts at the Georgia Ensemble Theater here in Roswell.
