Following Time magazine's naming of President Barack Obama as their Person of the Year, we asked who you thought should be named Roswell's "Person of the Year?"

Several of you entered your nominations, telling us why you thought they deserved the honor.

Hi Katherine!
Unfortunately, the nomination period ended late Friday afternoon. I'm so sorry that Jay wasn't included. He sounds like a great candidate.

There are so many hardworking, unsung sheroes and heroes in Roswell. I agree about Jay Litton. I would prefer that we limit the list in the future to unpaid individuals who give of their time and energy. While Steve and Barbara are nice, hardworking people, they are doing a job. Let's look for those who do it without compensation of money.
