Karen Handel of Roswell resigned her position with Susan G. Komen for the Cure Tuesday after controversy over funding of Planned Parenthood.
North Fulton residents are familiar with her years as a Fulton County Commissioner, the Georgia Secretary of State and her failed run for Georgia governor, a race which current Gov. Nathan Deal won.

Placing politics above anyone's health should not be tolerated. Was happy to see her go.

I really hope they didn't pay her anything when she left. She did not deserve anything. She should be sued by Komen for the damage she helped cause if that is possible.

At least since she resigned she can't collect unemployment. So there is a bright side to every situation. And let us not worry, I am sure she will be a commentator on Fox very soon. She can have a room built in her home, like Sarah Palin, and share her wealth of knowledge and opinions from there.
