Can't believe you left off Young Life Academy (Woodstock Road in the heart of Roswell). It's an incredibly creative and nurturing school with extremely low staff turnover that contributes to it's reputation of providing an incredible education and preparation for elementary school. My two daughters got the most amazing foundation there.

Love KrK of Historic Roswell. I have had my son there since he was an infant. Love the staff and they provide a family feel to the environment. Both the owner and Directors have higher levels of education in Early Childhood Development and teach through Play. Plus, the child to teacher ration is small.

Roswell Presbyterian Preschool!! It is an outstanding preschool with a loving and dedicated staff. The teachers are highly qualified early education teachers that use a wonderful combination of best practices and creativity. The art, music, creative movement and computer classes enhance what the children experience in the classroom. The program allows children to learn, explore and grow by letting them be kids first! Roswell Presbyterian is truly an exceptional first experience for 18 month- 5 year old children. My children love attending!

Village Montessori School I have pleasantly discovered is the school of choice for many educator's children. I was referred to the school by my neighbor who is also a Dr. of Education because at neighborhood party she raved about how much her daughter LOVED her school and classroom and couldn't wait to see her teacher. My son at the time didn't absolutely enjoy each school day for me to feel completely comfortable and confident even though it is a highly recommended pre-school that parents traditionally camp outside in order for their child to get in.
Another parent at Village is a child psychologist and I personally have a Masters in Education. Once an educator witnesses the magic that each child experiences in their learning environment especially how each lesson is given to the child like a present, they become a supporter too. Village educates the whole child (and parent) with evening workshops on toileting, nutrition, expectations, learning styles.
After seeing my second child soak up her pre-school real life experiences at Village, I wish so badly that my first child had the same environment yet even after we moved him at 4 years old to Village he was eager to learn the engaging routines and now he cannot wait to get to school to make his own choices and discover a new 'lesson'.
God bless Village teachers & staff! I wish I had these glorious experiences as a child. Make an appointment to observe then comment below ;)

We LOVE Cross of Life Christian Montessori School! As a Montessori guide, I know that this is a special place. It has such a beautiful outdoor environment and a dedicated and loving staff. In addition to being an AMI Montessori school, we also offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. We're one of the only Montessori schools in the area to do so. Can't wait to start our son in the toddler program in the fall!

Village Montessori School is AMAZING! This caring and homey environment is one that my daughter LOVES to attend. The students have the freedom to pursue the areas they are interested in while being guided properly to ensure they are getting a more broad preschool education than any I have seen previously. It is such an intentional balance of independence and guidance that leads to incredible competence and confidence. The concepts are learned so thoroughly and deeply due to the hands-on nature of each lesson. It is remarkable! As a parent who also happens to be a certified teacher, I only wish I could have used these super successful Montessori methods in my own classroom.

I have taught elementary school and preschool, as well as have been a parent of one or more preschool aged children for 5 years. I LOVE St. David's. The director greeted every child she came in contact with on our tour by NAME. She asked about siblings and friends of theirs by NAME. She sets the most amazing tone for the school! I highly recommend it!

Both of our children attend Cross of Life Christian Montessori - our daughter (5) has attended since she was 18 months old. It's a wonderful little school where both of our children have blossomed under the care of the wonderful teachers, Montessori curriculum and small classroom size. My son has a mild speech delay and his preschool teacher took the time to come to a speech therapy session on her day off so she could better understand how to help him in class. Where else do you get that kind of loving and devoted care!? Our older daughter loves the catechesis of the good shepherd program because it's taught in a Montessori like way and it's provided opportunities for us to further discuss religion and other cultures. She also loves the Musikgarten Garden program and French classes that are offered - we are delighted that she's getting a very well rounded Christian education. What we love most about the school is that COLCM is a family - all the families know each other, we look out for each other, help each other in times of need, gather together in fellowship not only for school functions but non school events too. We have made great friends through this school and are so grateful to have found a perfect fit for our family.

Our family loves St. David's! My son has attended their Young 5s class which is an Excellent bridge between pre-k and Kindergarten for younger students. He really blossomed and was so well prepared for Kindergarten - he's doing great! My daughter is in her second year at St. Davids and loves every minute - really cannot wait to go every single day. It's not easy to keep kids that age that happy all the time! I attribute it to the great attitude of all the excellent staff and management - so accomodating and caring. We feel so fortunate to have had them in our children's lives.

Northbrook Preschool is absolutely fabulous! Both of my girls go there and it has been a wonderful experience for the past four years. Northbrook has the most professional and dedicated group of administrators and teachers. From the moment I visited the school, I knew this was a special place. They celebrate each child's individuality and instill a passion for learning in students from the very beginning. The program is top-notch - educated staff, organized program with every detail thoroughly thought through, great communication to parents, well-rounded education program with media/music/computer/monthly chapel, and outstanding partnership with parents. I honestly can't imagine a preschool experience that could beat Northbrook. It has been such a wonderful blessing to our family, and I thank God that my girls get to learn from such an outstanding group of individuals each day. They "get it" and they "get it right" when it comes to providing a nurturing educational environment. Ok, so can you tell that I love Northbrook? :) Thanks for the opportunity to share my love and appreciation for this school! - Caroline Simmons

Northbrook UMC Preschool is the best there is. We were there continuously for 8 years. Completely fit both of my kids personalities, celebrated who they are and were. And taught them the love of God at the same time. Both of my kids had the best teachers we could have asked for. Emily Johnson is a great director over the teachers and the kids. Could not have asked for a better 8 years!

Atlanta Academy Preschool has passionate teachers who recognize the children as unique individuals. They teach the children using songs, creative movement, and finger plays. My daughter can't wait to see what the day will bring and she's sad to leave her friends and teachers when I pick her up. She always has new songs or stories to tell me on the ride home! Village Montessori School is a gem! Yes, the academics are great but it's the nurturing environment created by the staff and families and VMS that set it apart. I just wish we had found it sooner so that the kids could have started as toddlers, but we are glad they can continue there through elementary school. Love the outdoor areas, especially the gardening, composting etc. that the kids can do.

The Goddard School in Roswell has the most supportive faculty and parents anywhere! This coming Saturday, March 24th, we will all be working together to enhance and add to our new outdoor classroom. Parents have donated materials and their time and will be joining students, the faculty and administration to till the gardens, install new music elements, develop a mud kitchen, hang the art gallery, build birdhouses and wind chimes, and install the personalized bricks that they bought in our recent fundraiser. The result will be a fully functional outdoor classroom that will enable the students to learn in each domain of learning in a natural environment and to explore nature's systems and miracles. Our new outdoor classroom will be the perfect partner to our new artificial turf playgrounds!

St. David's is THE best preschool. My two younger children both went/go here (I only wish my oldest had had the opportunity to go to such a sweet school) and LOVED it. My youngest is currently enrolled in the Young 5's class, and he looks forward to going to school every day! Peggy Fallon is a sweet and caring director, all of the teachers are creative and loving, the classrooms and playground are perfect for the children, and the available Rooster Club and Lunch Bunch offer a nurturing environment if you need the extra time. Overall, I know my child is in the best school at St. David's Preschool, and I couldn't feel more secure when I drop my son off in the morning. We will greatly miss this sweet place when graduation comes.

So what's all the fuss about Young Life Academy? I wondered that myself, until I enrolled my two girls (soon to be three). YL reminds me of the preschool I went to as a kid - family owned, impeccably clean & comforting. The teachers and staff go out of their way to make our family feel like part of theirs. Both of my girls continue to excel and surprise us with the interesting things they are learning. They don't want to leave at the end of the day and it's so nice to pick up happy kids!
Summer camp is just around the corner and the girls are already talking about how much fun they'll have with all the planned events, swimming, field trips and special guests. For two very busy parents, we could NOT ask for anything more!

Saint Peter Chanel's director was voted "Best Director" in the Atlanta Diocese last year based on the performance of the school and her staff. The school attendance has remained "full" even through economic difficulties. My youngest child attended after moving to Atlanta and we loved it. The school offers not only a safe, loving environment, but a school of academic excellence for the very young. We are a community that is an extended family to each other. A perfect place to give your child their first introductions of being away from home, but feeling like an extension of their home!

Village Montessori School is an outstanding school!
My children thrives not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well.
To be able to sent my children to VMS is the best investment I have ever made.
The love of learning, love of others, love of nature and environment, encouragement of self dependent and thinking outside the box, positive determination, organization, creativeness, grace and courtesy, knowledgable and sincere teachers/staffs, are some important learning philosophies that I was looking for in a school for my three
children, and Village Montessori Schools offers and maximizes these valuable foundations for my children's lifetime achievements. As a parent, I have always received positive support from VMS faculties and administrative staffs. They know and shared the deep understanding of the AMI Montessori philosophies and encourage parents to be advocates for their children's learning success. In all honesty, the experience not only gave my children the best education and learning experience, but it also allows me to be a dedicated and better parent. These are the reason why I think Village Montessori School is the best school!

It is clear that we are so fortunate, as a community, to have so many wonderful Preschools in our area that do so much to love children and help them grow! I think St. Peter Chanel Preschool is outstanding because of the loving, dedicated teachers and staff and also because of the parents who support the teachers and work hard to develop a sense of community and caring for all families by planning events where families can come together for fun and fellowship and helping each other in times of need. With children, parents and teachers who are the best, St. Peter Chanel Preschool is a place for families to grow!

I LOVE Kids R Kids of Historic Roswell! I have 2 children that were more than prepared for Kindergarten after attending the GA Pre-K class. The director is AWESOME, the teachers and loving and motivating, and the entire staff is warm and friendly! I can't wait for my 3rd child to enjoy the same fun, educational experience as my other 2 kids!

We love St. Peter Chanel! My son and nephew both attend and I couldn't be more pleased. I've always believed that family is so important to raising good, moral children with values and St. Peter Chanel is that family for us. The teachers are fantastic and are always providing feedback with what they are doing in the classroom and how they can help with managing the typical toddler stage (i.e. my rambunctious almost 4- year-old son:)). The director is personally involved with every aspect of the school to the point of getting the kids out of the car in carpool and knowing EVERYONE's names! We absolutely love it!

St Peter Chanel is awesome
I share comments noted already, but would like to point out the Director, singled out as best preschool leader in entire Archdiocese last year......a huge distinction that reflects on Barb and the entire program & staff.
Exceptional in all respects!!

My son went to St Peter Chanel Preschool for all 4 years and we were so happy with our choice. Barb Gordon, the director, exudes motherly love and greets each little one personally as they exit the car, by name and with a cheerful Good Morning and smile, every single day without fail. That alone is impressive. The parents respect her balance of sweetness and being in control, and she has been recognized with awards as the leading Preschool Director in the area by the Archdiocese. My son had fun and learned a lot every day, and he was more than prepared for Kindergarten. It really is like a family there. Loved it!!

Atlanta Academy has a great Preschool. There are lots of things they learn and they have a very fun, safe, playground to play on. They have nice teachers and Mrs. Hook (the administrative assistant) truly loves the children like they are her own. I also suggest this school because it goes all the way up to 8th grade and provides a safe learning environment where the kids can grow into the young adults that have the most promising future possible!

La'Own Academy should be added to the list. My son is in the kindergarten prep (private per K). He has developed such a love for learning. Aside from play and character building; he is reading, adding, telling time, counting money and learning spanish, korean, and Spanish. Not only does La'Own provide a strong educational opportunity, it also provides my son with a loving and nurturing environment. I can't say enough exceptional things about la'Own Academy!

I would like to add another endorsement for Roswell Presbyterian Preschool, located in downtown Roswell. Both my children went through the school, and I was extremely impressed by the dedication and professionalism of all the teachers and staff and the quality of the instruction. For the price, it's the best you will get, offering just as much as the pricier preschools in the area, and with so much love! The teachers were so kind and caring and made every day such fun, but they also put a strong emphasis on academics. We loved the specials- Fine Art, Music, Creative Movement, and Computers and the facilities are clean, bright, and cheery- everything preschool should be! The families that attend are great and very involved and it really is a great, welcoming community. We do not have a single complaint about this top-notch preschool and sing its praises every chance we get!
