Winning Roswell Lotto Ticket Still Unclaimed
A Mega Millions ticket worth $250,000 sold in Roswell remains unclaimed.
The Mega Millions ticket sold in Roswell is worth $250,000, but Georgia Lottery Corporation officials say it remains unclaimed.
"The winner has not come forward and has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize," said lottery spokeswoman Tandi Reddick.
The ticket was sold at the Shallowford Road Publix Super Market.
It was one of five tickets which matched the first five numbers in the drawing. Four other Georgia players matched the first five numbers to win $250,000 each. Those tickets were sold in Atlanta, Hinesville, Kingsland and Riverdale .
An additional 19 Georgia players won $10,000 each by matching the first four numbers and the Mega Ball. Three of those tickets were sold in Atlanta, the rest were sold in Canton, College Park, Dacula, Decatur, Fayetteville, LaGrange, Lawrenceville, Lithonia, Lyons, Marietta, Peachtree City, Rex, Rock Spring, Statesboro, Valdosta and Woodstock.
Winning numbers were: 4-8-15-25-47 and the Mega Ball was 42. Two winning tickets sold in Idaho and Washington state split the $380 million jackpot prize, according to the lottery press release.
