The city of Roswell, and its Parks & Recreation Department, celebrated Arbor Day 2013 on Feb. 15.
By proclomation of Mayor Jerry Wood, read by Councilmember Rich Dippolito, the city officially honored Arbor Day 2013 by planting five new black walnut trees on Crabapple Drive (near the trail entrance to Roswell Area Park).
The city continues to show its committment to keeping Roswell beautiful and keeping a place where nature is appreciated, for generations to come.
