Menchie's Wins Best Frozen Yogurt in Roswell

Which local fro-yo spot did you say was the best in Roswell? Here are the results!

It's been around for ages, but in recent years frozen yogurt has become a super trendy treat. In Roswell alone, there are several options for fro-yo lovers. So we wondered, which is the local favorite? Here were your four choices: And the winner is...Menchie's! Taking the lead right away, the popular frozen yogurt chain took home 54 percent (38 votes). They were followed by Orange Leaf with 18 percent (13 votes) and Cloud 9 Frozen Yogurt & Cupcakes with 17 percent (12 votes). TCBY came in fourth with 10 percent (seven votes).

Menchie's At Centennial Village Offers Free Frozen Yogurt Saturday

The store will kick off its summer season from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday, May 19.

Menchie’s is hosting a guest appreciation celebration to thank loyal guests and kick-off the summer season at its Centennial Village store on Holcomb Bridge Road this weekend. What is your business and how long have you been doing it? I am an independent jewelry artist and instructor, designing and creating jewelry for the past ten years. In 2008, I left my job as Dean of Students at a private high school to pursue making Rochelle Nation Jewelry my new full time career. It was a challenging change, but I absolutely love my new job and the creative outlet jewelry making brings to my life. What makes you good at what you do? 'Top Shot' Star to Visit Palmer Dodge Saturday

The Roswell dealership will host an "Autos & Ammo" event, Saturday, May 19 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

History Channel's Top Shot Talent fans will get the chance to meet Dylan Fletcher at Palmer Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM this Saturday, May 19. Fletcher, who began his shooting career at a young age, was featured during a 10-week run on season four the History Channel series. enAble of Georgia Recieves $25K Grant from The UPS Foundation

The money will be used for capital improvement projects.

enAble of Georgia, Inc. recently received a $25,000 grant from The UPS Foundation, the charitable arm of UPS, to use on capital improvements. The grant will be used for three of enAble of Georgia’s residential group homes to install a new roof, flooring, cabinets, countertops, and energy-efficient appliances, as well the widen doorways to accommodate progressive mobility issues and devices of the residents. enAble of Georgia provides support services to more than 100 people with special needs in metro Atlanta.
