It's overwhelming.  You just wish someone would explain it to you in plain old English.  You just need a crash course in divorce to get your head wrapped around what it takes and how to get through it.  Welcome to Crash Course Divorce in Buckhead.

Offered the third Mondays of the month and limited to 8 attendees, this seminar is broken into two segments that can be taken in any order and at any time.

For individuals contemplating or facing separation or divorce, this course provides solid information about the options and avenues through separation and divorce. Additionally, the legal process is demystified and planning strategies are explained.  If you just want to get a handle on the basics and some guidance on "what next" and "what's fair," this is the seminar for you.

The morning segment covers the divorce process and options as it relates to equitable division of marital assets and divorce, as well as spousal support issues, with a deep dive into the "DRFA." (Don't know what a DRFA is?  No problem! We'll explain it.) It also addresses divorce mediation and the prevalence of divorce settlements, uncontested divorces, and other divorce resources.

The afternoon segment covers children's issues, including custody, parenting-time (visitation), child support, and more. 

Taught by attorneys and mediators, you can obtain a clearer understanding of the common mistakes and pitfalls of separation and divorce while starting to develop your own map of where you'd like to go and how you'd like to transition.
