HUGE DONATION - BIG SPRING BOOK SALE
Come to the Spring Book Sale on March 24, 2012 at the Roswell Library. The sale sponsored by the Friends of the Roswell Library will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The Friends of the Roswell Library have been fortunate in the last few months to receive extraordinary donations which will make this sale the best ever. A local book store, Once & Again Books, was consolidating and closing their store on Holcomb Bridge Road. Their donation of over 6000 books to the Friends of the Roswell Library is greatly appreciated.
The following week a member of the public donated 22 boxes of pristine mystery and science fiction books. This continual support from the people of Roswell make it possible for us to maintain our store and have such great sales. This is truly recycling at its best.
Members of the Friends of he Roswell Library are invited to come to the Preview Sale on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. You will have first choice of all books and the opportunity to visit with other members of the Friends. New members may join at the door. Scanners will not be allowed at the Preview Sale on Friday; however, they will be permitted at the regular sale on Saturday, March 24.
Proceeds from book sales are used for programs at the Roswell Library including the Summer Reading Programs for children and adults, Roswell Reads and special purchases for the library. Come browse, shop and support your local library.
If you are unable to come to the sale, stop by the Friends Book Store during daily business hours. The store is located off the lobby of the Roswell Library and is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 PM and on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. There are new bargains every day.

The Roswell Branch library, located near the Roswell Municipal Complex, is open to the public seven days a week. Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System members may use their library card at the Roswell library branch as well as any other system library.
The Roswell library has childrens', juvenile and adult book sections, as well as journals, magazines, audiocassettes, DVDs, VHS tapes and computer stations available for borrowing and use. The library also offers GED tests several times a year for $19 per test (as a series of five tests).
