Open tryouts for the Georgia Buccaneers Semi-Pro Football team will be held at 2 pm on Nov. 25 at Cambridge High Stadium in Milton.
Registration will begin at 1:30 pm and applicants are encouraged to be early. Tryouts will be held rain or shine.
The Georgia Buccaneers are heading into their fifth season. However, all positions are available.The GA Buccaneers Football Program is made up of former high school, college and professional players, coaches and staff. Being a Buccaneer gives athletes an opportunity to continue their football careers while providing a wholesome and exciting form of entertainment to their community.
Selected players for the 2013 GA Buccaneeers will practice weekly at Cambridge High Stadium beginning in mid-December through the Spring season that begins in late February and ends in late May.
Home games are scheduled for 7 pm on Saturday evenings at Cambridge High Stadium. Away games will be held on Saturdays, times and locations TBA. Cambridge High School is a part of the Fulton County Schools district. The school has a vision and a mission for its students. While no uniforms are used, a dress code is in place and requires students to be neat and clean and wear clothes that are in good taste. Cambridge High School offers the usual classes, such as science, math, English and the arts, like ceramics.
