An evening of guilt-free shopping at its finest! The 7th annual Open Your Purse event raises funds and awareness for the YWCA’s Women in Transition and Supportive Housing program.
The event will showcase hundreds of handbags donated by Belk (and other retailers), designers and high-profile individuals. Attendees can purchase the handbags, and more, during the silent and live auctions.
Each year the event recognizes a graduate of the YWCA’s Women in Transition program with the Power of the Purse Award. The honoree is an exceptional woman who has completed the 18-month supportive housing program and has overcome incredible odds to achieve success for herself and her family.
