Community Walkabout Event Coming to Historic Downtown Roswell - After Noon, North on Canton – Tuesday, Aug. 6.
A summer STAYCATION!
The fourth After Noon, North on Canton is Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2013 featuring business specials on the North end of Canton Street.
The organizers of After Noon, North on Canton want to bring activities to the community during the day, noon - 4 p.m., on the first Tuesday of the month now until Oct.
Our goal is to create a fun and special experience that adults and families will look forward to attending. Over the next few months, we’re planning a Lunch ‘n Learn, a Swap meet, a Scavenger Hunt, a live music and dance performance, and more!
Visitors will receive a map of the street with the participating businesses clearly marked as well as balloons at the locations where the Specials are. Each business will be offering something unique to visitors that day including discounts, free items, gift certificates, and in-house raffles.
Visitors will get the chance to learn about the businesses by interacting with them at a time when staff is available.
Performing this month will be two rising 9th graders in the premier performance of their acoustic music (no band name yet) at 1144 Canton Street, noon-4 p.m.
Participants so far include: CoreMatters, Sweet! Roswell, Shen Wellness Center, Elegant Attic, Pilates Power House, JuliaNelli Salon, Pet Fancy, Salon de la Vie, Bilt House and Plum Tree Cafe.
The north end of Canton Street is turning into a fabulous destination area with top-notch restaurants, art galleries, health and wellness studios and a variety of kid-friendly locales and activities. This event will give everyone an opportunity to have fun and see what it’s all about.
