CARL BLACK OF ROSWEL PLEDGES $10,000 TO SUPPORT THE ROSWELL NORTH ELEMENTARY FOUNDATION

Roswell North Elementary Foundation (RNEF) and Roswell North Elementary School Principal Kindra Smith are thrilled to announce that Carl Black of Roswell Buick & GMC Dealer has generously pledged $10,000 to sponsor the annual Spring Soiree.  The soiree supports academic initiatives at Roswell North Elementary School (RNE) including technology enhancements, teacher training, curriculum-based science and math education, as well as supplies and lessons for RNE's Licata Science Lab, the first community-funded science lab in a Fulton County elementary school.

"I am so encouraged and inspired by Carl Black of Roswell's support of local community education," said Kindra Smith, RNE Principal.  "The dealership's generosity will help RNE advance the academic performance of our students by adding tools and resources that would otherwise be financially out of reach.  The RNE community looks forward to a long standing partnership with Carl Black of Roswell.”

“As a business owner, I see firsthand how important technical skills are to students entering the workforce and Carl Black of Roswell is dedicated to arming the youth in our community with the resources they need to be successful, regardless of income,” said Tod Baker, General Manager of Carl Black of Roswell.  “I was impressed with Roswell North Elementary Foundation’s focus on the advancement of science, technology and mathematics.  Carl Black of Roswell is thrilled to partner with the RNE community to help provide the tools and resources our children need to master twenty-first century technical skills.”
