Centennial High Students Recognized by National Merit Scholarship Program

The College Board recognizes excellence among juniors who take the PSAT/NMSQT each year.  Centennial is proud to announce the following students who were named National Merit Scholarship Semi-finalists:  Monica Bhatia, Dorothy Cannella, Jacob McConaghie, Emma Smith, and Nicholas Summers.  These students will compete nationally for college scholarships for undergraduate studies.

In addition to our National Merit Scholarship Semi-finalists, we have 12 other students who have been recognized by the CollegeBoard for outstanding scores. Evan Johnson has been named a semi-finalist in the National Achievement Scholarship Competition. Also among those recognized, the following students were commended for scoring in the top 5% of the 1.5 million students who took the exam last October: Julia Barnes, Eliza Bergman, Cori Bruce, Steed  Castellanos, Jesse Couch, Juan Fonseca-Guzman (also selected as a National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar), Matthew Harries, Caroline McCall, Abbey Morris, Kellar Steinson, and Elijah Watson. Congratulations!
