America Recycles Day Contest for Kids

Entries promoting healthy choices for kids and the planet are due, Friday, Nov. 4.

Reaping Nature Educational Outreach Foundation has launched its America Recycles Day contest for kids and winners could take home prizes from Roswell's Harry's Farmers Market.

This fall’s contest theme is Healthy Choices = Healthy You & Planet.

“We want kids to think about the healthy choices that impact our everyday lives,” said Denise Carleton, executive director of Reaping Nature, a Forsyth County non-profit organization. “By making healthy food choices, recycling, not littering or exercising, for example, individuals show how they are taking care of themselves and the planet.”
