Beautiful 'Bunny' Looking For A Home

Sharpei mix available for adoption from Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet little Bunny - a beautiful Sharpei mix who's a pure bundle of sweetness and love.

Bunny is 13 weeks old, weighs approximately 10 to 12 pounds, is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots and vetting and is ready to go to her forever home and family.

This wonderful bundle of joy is 90 percent house- and crate-trained, although being young she will tend to whimper just a bit at first but quickly settles down and is no problem whatsoever in her crate.

Bunny is great with other dogs, cats, children and adults - she has no aggression issues whatsoever. She is content to just curl up in a warm blanket an snooze away the day, but she is always up for a two-mile run with her foster, chasing the wind along the river trails for the afternoon.

She absolutely loves to play with her foster's other dogs and cats in the back yard on sunny days. Although she's small, Bunny can hold her own exceptionally well and is very feisty when playing with the other doggies in her pack.

When the playing is done, though, she loves nothing better than to snuggle with them for the evening. Little Bunny was found in a rural Georgia as a feral stray. Sadly, her other siblings had been eaten by coyotes and she was the only one to survive.

Due to the attack by coyotes, little Bunny sustained some injuries in surviving their attack. Her left eye has a corneal scar which requires daily medication twice per day for the rest of her life. The cost of the medication is low, but she must have the drops every day to prevent further problems and possible loss of her eyesight. Her left eye is slightly smaller and has very little tear duct production. Hopefully, the daily medication will have a positive effect for both her beautiful, loving eyes.

Even though she will need the meds for her lifetime, she is completely healthy otherwise and is very glad to be alive and shows it every day in her joy and zest for life.

The ideal home for little Bunny would be a loving family/adopter who would know and understand her need for the medication daily and would commit to doing that for this precious little girl.

Our sweet Bunny needs a loving, nurturing home that will help her continue to blossom and grow into the wonderful dog she already is as a puppy. Even though she was skittish in the beginning due to being in the horrific condition she was found in at such a young age, she is learning everyday that humans are good things to be around and that having wonderful animal companions to play with are also good things.

Basically, this little girl just wants a loving home, a safe and warm place to lay her head, some humans and animals to play with, go walking and hiking with, some fun toys and lots of good food, snuggles and a place to not only lay her head but her heart for a lifetime.

If you can offer that to Bunny, she'd be forever grateful and will give you lots of love in return.
