Belle Still Looking for Forever Home

This week Belle has been chosen as Pet Patch of the Week. Belle is our longest term resident who is quickly approaching her one year anniversary at our shelter. We truly don’t understand why she is still here because this girl has lots of personality and a sweet disposition.

Belle is a beautiful, black pit bull terrier mix. At almost two years old, this little lady is strong, energetic and loves to spend quality time in the play yards with her favorite people. Belle also loves water and will happily hop in the kiddie pools at the Atlanta Humane Society and swim and splash away.

Belle is still young and learning, so she would do best in a home committed to providing her with structure and training to help her learn how to best behave in her new home. She is sweet and desires to learn but needs someone who is willing to teach her all she needs to know. A volunteer for the Atlanta Humane Society has generously paid for a six week, basic training class for Belle and her new owners.

Belle is also a really great size for anyone. She is smaller than most pit bull terrier mixes. Despite her weight being forty-one pounds she is actually small in stature and would make a great walking or running buddy. Belle is a little too interested in kitties so she would do best in a home with no small animals.
