Blood Drives Scheduled in Roswell this Week

The American Red Cross is asking the community to come together and donate blood this month at locations in Roswell.

As part of Red Cross Month, the American Red Cross is asking the Roswell community to become an everyday hero and donate blood.

“Red Cross Month is an ideal time for people to show support for our mission,” said Mario Sedlock, interim CEO of the Southern Blood Services Region. “Anyone can become an Everyday Hero by giving blood or platelets, becoming a volunteer, making a financial donation or taking a class.”

Sunday, March 3

Roswell Presbyterian Church located at 755 Mimosa Boulevard. The blood drive will be held from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. In addition to blood, other donations sought include: Double Red Cells.

Northbrook United Methodist Church located at 11225 Crabapple Road. The blood drive will be held from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Monday, March 4

Roswell North Elementary located at 10525 Woodstock Road. The blood drive will be held from 2 p.m.- 7 p.m.
