Celebrate the End of Summer in Roswell

Don't let summer slip away without a proper farewell!

For ten years now, the Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department has bid adieu to the end of summer by helping put smiles on the faces of families throughout the city with an annual "."

The event - which takes place on Sunday, Sept. 4 from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. at Centennial High School - is a way of making the most of fleeting summer days, as well as ushering in the new fall season. Carnival games and activities begin at 6 p.m. This annual celebration features bands Cindy Lou Harrington at 6 p.m. and BackTracks at 7:15 p.m. A fireworks display will begin at dark.

During the carnival concessions and food from Atlanta Miller’s Ale House and Restaurant will be on sale. Sponsors of the event include Sam’s Club, Wal-Mart and Fulton County Schools.
