Colors Festival of Arts to Brighten Town Square Mother's Day Weekend

The festival will take place Saturday and Sunday, May 11-12.

Once again, the upcoming Mother’s Day weekend is sure to be full of color when the Colors Festival of Arts takes over the historic Roswell Town Square.

Spring flowers, sparkling glass, paintings, photography, jewelry, sculptures and other original arts and crafts are sure to delight all local moms during the 2013 festival, which has become a local favorite and draws visitors from all over the metro area. Thousands of visitors have turned out at past festivals and many of them even wait to buy Mother's Day presents until something catches mom's eye while strolling through the festival.

This year, artists and craftsmen from throughout the Southeast will help put on "magnificent show," say organizers.

Entertainment including storytelling, music and dance performances is scheduled throughout both days. Food vendors will also be on hand and a free shuttle will run from Roswell City Hall to the Town Square to accomodate parking.

The event is presented by the Roswell Jr. Woman’s Club to raise funds which support numerous charitable and local community programs.

The Colors Festival of Arts will take place at the historic Roswell Town Square on Saturday and Sunday, May 11-12, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. each day.
